Meg Smallwood joined Stephen Peterson Lawyers in February 2017. Meg has a Bachelor of Laws from Southern Cross University’s Lismore campus, and has completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. She is admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and also the High Court of Australia.
Meg is an ardent advocate with long-standing connections to the Latrobe Valley and surrounds. She has an excellent understanding and appreciation of Indigenous culture and people, with a special focus on ensuring they are respected and defended accordingly. With a high level of experience, particularly in Criminal and Child Protection law, Meg will vigorously and skilfully defend your case.
